Geoff Barnard PhD MA has been a professional clinical biochemist for over 40 years. He received his PhD in biochemistry from the University of London in 1983 and a MA in Theology from the University of Southampton in 1999. He has published over 100 scientific papers and articles including several chapters in textbooks relating to his specific expertise of immunoassay development. He has been a Senior Lecturer in three UK Universities and has been a frequent visiting scientist at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovot. His last full time position in the UK was as a Senior Research Scientist in the Department of Veterinary Medicine, University of Cambridge, a position that he held for over 7 years. He became an Israeli citizen in May 2009 and now lives with his wife in Arad.
